Is spray foam worth it in my attic?
It depends on your goal. Foam under the roof deck moves the insulation to the roofline and seals air leaks. If you just want more R-value over the ceiling, a blown-in top-up may be the simpler job. We'll tell you which fits.
Can you foam a metal building in Deer Valley?
Yes. Closed-cell foam is a strong fit for metal buildings because it's dense, rigid and resists air and water vapor. At about R-6 per inch, it packs more R-value into thin spaces. We take jobs in Deer Valley and across the city.
How thick does the foam need to be?
That comes down to the R-value the job needs. Closed-cell gives about R-6 per inch and open-cell about R-3.6, so the same target takes more open-cell depth. We size it to the space and the code edition the city enforces.
Do you spray foam in new custom homes?
Yes. Send us plans and a detailed bid comes back within 48 hours. We'll take one custom home or a 500-unit community. Builders also get post-close warranty service: one call, and we handle it.
Will foam work in an older home?
It can, but we look first. Willo homes date back to 1910, and Coronado and Roosevelt are historic districts too. Older roof decks and framing vary, so we check them before we recommend foam.
Does SRP offer a rebate for spray foam?
As of October 2026, SRP has an attic insulation rebate for its residential customers. Check the current terms at srpnet.com to see if a foam job qualifies. Homes on APS can't use SRP rebates, and Phoenix addresses are split between the two.
